We are currently recruiting for an Data Platform Technical Lead to join our established and experienced Chief Information Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.

 

Role Requirements

 

As the Data Platform Technical Architect you will be responsible for defining and leading the architectural design of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) at RSA. You will architect and optimize core platform components, such as data storage, data processing, security, and monitoring, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with RSA's business and technology requirements.

You will define and implement architecture patterns for integrating data from various systems into the EDP and ensuring seamless data consumption for analytics, reporting, and machine learning purposes. You will enable the delivery of Platform as a Service (PaaS) to internal teams and business units.

You will establish and manage the platform's connectivity with wider RSA systems, ensuring smooth integration between the EDP and other critical systems. You will lead efforts in cost optimization, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources, storage, and processing capabilities. You will ensure that the EDP adheres to all relevant compliance and regulatory standards, such as GDPR, Solvency II, and other industry regulations.

 

The Individual

 

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have experience in architecting and managing large-scale enterprise data platforms, with a focus on cloud-based solutions using Azure and Databricks. You will have a good background in designing and implementing integration patterns.

You will have experience in enabling PaaS models for internal data products development and consumer teams. You will have knowledge of data security and governance practices, including compliance with regulatory frameworks.

You will have experience in cost management within cloud environments, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining performance and scalability. You will have an understanding of how to architect data platforms to support machine learning pipelines, data science workloads, and advanced analytics at scale.
