Position Overview:

The Project Analyst will work closely with the project management and operations teams, providing analytical support across multiple phases of energy projects, including feasibility studies, project planning, and implementation. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a passion for sustainability and renewable energy. The Project Analyst will also assist with project budgeting, performance tracking, and data visualization to inform decision-making and ensure that projects are on track, within scope, and aligned with our strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to energy projects, including cost estimates, timelines, and resource allocation. Provide clear and actionable insights to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Financial Modelling & Forecasting: Assist in financial modelling for project feasibility studies and ongoing budgeting. Prepare regular forecasts and variance reports to track project performance.
  • Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Project Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and milestone reports.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements, communicate updates, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Market Research: Conduct industry research to inform project feasibility and assess potential project impacts. Stay up to date on emerging trends and regulations in the energy sector.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in a project analyst, data analyst, or similar role, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, or Prince2 certification a plus).
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and an understanding of the industry landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
