ob Advertisement: Pipe WelderLocation: BirkenheadPosition: Pipe WelderType: Temp-to-PermPay Rate:£20 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday day shifts with early finish on FridayAbout the Pipe Welder Role:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Welder to join our client's team on a temp-to-perm basis. Ideal candidates will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication/Welding or a similar qualification and have extensive experience in high-quality pipe fabrication and welding.Position OverviewPrimary Responsibilities: * Perform pipe fabrication and welding to meet company and client standards, with a strong focus on quality and adherence to established procedures. * Execute TIG welding to a coded standard in the 6G position, working with both mild and stainless steel. * Read and interpret basic sketches, piping isometrics, and technical drawings. * Complete welding to coded standards, ensuring compliance and quality. * Work both on-site and in our workshop as needed. * Participate in a practical welding test as part of the interview process and complete a trial period upon selection.Pipe Welder Key Skills and Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years’ experience TIG welding pipework. * Valid site card (SPA, CSCS, or CCNSG). * Proven ability to work effectively within a small, well-established team and collaborate with other trades. * High-level technical skills and practical expertise, with a willingness to mentor and share knowledge. * Ability to work to deadlines and take initiative, both independently and within a team setting. * Positive, proactive attitude with strong communication skills. * Flexibility for overtime when required. * Proof of previous coding certifications is an advantage. * Occasional travel outside the local area is a plus.If you are an experienced, motivated professional with a commitment to quality and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you
