Whilst being capable and experienced in test automation you will be equally as talented and able to contribute to manual testing where required as well.You will be responsible for automated testing of Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform solutions within our projects setting the Automation approach and delivering it. You will be involved in the maintenance and evolution of our frameworks and automation test suites applying best practice standards to all you do. Automation could be at any application and integration layer and your skills need to be adaptable to select the most appropriate and efficient way to test.We have seen an increase in the number of solutions and projects with an AI capability so you must have some knowledge and exposure to the capabilities of AI how it can be used to benefit testing and automated testing as well as how to carry out testing of AI solutions and the ability to integrate that into an automation capability.Key Responsibilities:Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and CucumberMaintenance and continuous improvement of our test automation frameworksExecute manual testing for Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutionsCarry out API and Accessibility testing where requiredCollaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverageIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub ActionsDevelop and maintain YAML scripts for defining pipelines and PowerShell scripts for deployment tasksEnsure accessibility compliance through automation using Axe or similar toolsManage secrets and configurations using Azure Key VaultParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practicesParticipate in test planning estimation and risk analysis activitiesReport and track defects and work with the development team to resolve issuesContribute to the continuous improvement and maintenance of automated testing frameworks processes and methodologiesAssist in the mentoring support and guidance of other QA team membersRequired Experience:Minimum of 5 years experience in automated testingISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced)Proven experience in both manual and automated testing at all levels of testingHands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsStrong understanding of software testing principles and methodologiesStrong understanding and practical application of principles of test automation and automationstrategies and approachesProficiency in writing and executing manual test cases and test scriptsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAttention to detail and a commitment to qualityAnalytical and proactive in their approach to testing and problem solvingExperienced at carrying out testing activities in Scrum methodology and contributing in allceremonies (Planning Stand Ups demo and retros)Capable of engaging at all levels with colleagues and customersTest planning and estimationAbility to drive testing processes starting from planning phase to test execution bug fixing and supportFamiliar with test and bug management tools and processes ideally Azure Dev Ops (ADO)Hands-on experience with API testingExperience with test automation frameworks design implementation and maintenanceFamiliarity with Scrum methodology and how testing and test automation activities fit inMust have worked on Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) methodologyAbility to develop automated functional tests which exercise the UI API and DB layers.Highly delivery focused proactive in their approach to work and contributionsTechnological Capabilities:Candidates are expected to have practical experience of using all of the following;PlaywrightJavaScript / TypeScriptPostman / REST Client / AxiosCucumberAccessibility Automation using Axe or similarAzure DevOps pipeline CI / CDGitHub Actions / GitHub commandsYAML Scripting - Defining PipelinesPowerShell Script - Deployment TasksAzure Key VaultWere also looking for people that fit how we work which is something like;happiest working under their own direction but fully supported when neededan obvious attention to detail we want you to obsess about the little thingsan escalation handler able to achieve win-win outcomes by utilising the skills across the teamability to work effectively with remote teams in Indiaability to work flexibly to deliver on-time to tight timescalesWhat we can do for you:Were a transparent honest and fiercely equal employer that believes completely in providing the best possible work experience for our employees:Real Flexibility were a family first organisation and if the work gets done you can work when and wherever you want.
