Java Software Engineer - Vehicle Telematics/Diagnostics - REMOTE - £75K

They are at the forefront of developing a revolutionary platform designed to predict vehicle reliability issues using advanced telematics and diagnostics technology. Their proprietary hardware and software solutions, in direct collaboration with vehicle manufacturers, are set to transform the industry by processing real-time data from modern vehicles.


Our client is currently seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join their dynamic data ingestion team. This team is crucial for enhancing compatibility with global manufacturers. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the architecture, guiding product direction, and developing new services from the ground up. Your expertise in Java, AWS, Kafka, Micronaut, and other technologies will be vital in refining existing platforms and integrating third-party inputs seamlessly.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer
  • Proficiency in Java programming
  • Experience in a high-paced environment
  • Extensive familiarity with Kafka
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)


In addition to working with cutting-edge technology, this role offers the flexibility of remote work, with monthly office visits required. The position includes a competitive salary of £75K, a potential bonus of up to 20%, and a comprehensive benefits package.
