Contracts Manager

Domino Building Services Ltd is a mechanical and electrical service provider built on strong values and dedicated to delivering customer-focused building engineering services since 1989.
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team and be based at our head-office in Farnham, Surrey.
Your role will report to the Senior Leadership Team, whilst supporting the business by managing a portfolio of mobile and static M&E maintenance contracts.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring maintenance is completed to appropriate standards and contract specifications
- Responding to daily client requests promptly over the phone and/or by email
- Attending client meetings in person and online
- Managing a team of mobile and static M&E engineers
- Managing a selection of vetted specialist sub-contractors
- Providing support to engineers and clients with technical problem solving on site
- Comprehending engineer reports and acting on items noted for attention
- Creating remedial works quotations
- Preparing weekly invoicing for completed quoted works
- Working with the company’s core operating systems in line with quality management processes
- Managing the on-going success of our client portal for the portfolio of managed sites
- Providing a level of strategic thinking to support clients with asset lifespan and replacement forecasting
- Supporting project management activities where required
To be successful in this role you need the following skills and experience:
- Proven track record of managing the delivery of first-class M&E services
- Robust technical background to support site engineers with expertise where required
- Professional qualification and practical experience in a trade – Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC
- Strong practical understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Excellent communication with clients, customers, colleagues and supply chain on a daily basis
- Experienced in building and managing client relationships
- Computer literate and proficient with Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems
- Dynamic and proactive, whilst being able to react promptly to client requests
- Skilled in prioritising workload and multi-tasking where required
