About the Role
The overarching objective of the role is to support the whole of UKEF by improving the quality of data across the organisation, making sure everyone has access to good quality data and strong insights to inform decisions and delivery. You'll be at the forefront of establishing and overseeing a robust data governance framework, ensuring our data's integrity and effective management. Your efforts will empower data driven decision-making and ensure compliance with identified data standards.
Main Activities
The role will lead in embedding, implementing and managing of the UKEF data governance framework in order to drive a sustainable improvement in data quality across the organisation.
  • Work on the iteration and implementation of practical data governance solutions to support organisational needs and the DDaT strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Data owners and the network of subject matter experts.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve the quality and trustworthiness of data throughout the organisation. This includes managing the organisation and admin of the Data Governance Board, including tracking issues and actions.
  • Apply data governance to optimise the safety and value of data throughout the data life cycle
  • Work within the organisation to minimise data risks and increase data literacy.
