Working within a small team The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for a range of transactional accounting processes, including Purchase Ledger & Payments, Sales Ledger, Cash & Bank, and Nominal Ledger for the Group. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate accounting systems, processes, and controls accurately and efficiently across multiple bookkeeping disciplines.Ensure compliance with all required accounting controls.Process cashbooks, sales and purchase ledgers, and purchase orders using a multi-currency system.Review consignment and self-bill information for accurate and timely invoicing.Manage data input and deliver accurate outputs, taking ownership of improvements within your role.Handle general administrative duties, including processing and reviewing employee expense claims.Participate in interim and final audits with external auditors.Support the line manager with ad hoc duties as required.Build effective relationships with team members, management, and stakeholders.Meet deadlines and produce high-quality outputs.Identify and report irregularities or risks to business operations.Provide professional and accurate administrative services.Experience & SkillsProven experience in Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger within a busy commercial or manufacturing environment is essential.Cash book experience is highly advantageous.Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Demonstrate a proactive, “can do” attitude and ability to follow instructions promptly.In return our client offers a competitive Salary, Benefits and Hybrid working option - If you are interested and feel you have the relevant skill set and proactive attitude then please get in touch for a confidential chat.
