Senior Internal Auditor (Operations) – Global GroupLocation: Leeds (Hybrid 1 day a week in office)Astrum Search are working with a global, market-leading organisation who are looking to hire a Senior Internal Auditor (Operations) to join their Group Internal Audit function. This is a high-visibility role working closely with senior leadership across multiple business units, supporting the development of a data-driven and technology-enabled audit function.You’ll support operational reporting, quality assurance, audit methodology development and delivery of strategic audit initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys shaping how audit operates, improving processes, and partnering closely with teams globally.What You’ll Be DoingProduce and maintain audit performance reporting, dashboards and insights for leadership.Support month-end Internal Audit processes, including data quality checks and management reporting packs.Prepare materials for Audit Committee reporting.Help develop and maintain the Internal Audit Quality Assurance & Improvement Programme.Identify opportunities to improve audit methodology and tools, ensuring consistency across global teams.Support and coordinate internal audit team meetings, training sessions and engagement activities across locations.Work across the global audit team to drive operational improvements and deliver key strategic projects.What We’re Looking ForStrong experience in internal audit, ideally in a complex or global organisation.Professional audit / assurance qualification (CIA, ACA, ACCA or similar).Strong understanding of internal controls and how to design, assess and improve them.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Comfortable analysing data and producing meaningful reporting insights.Experience with audit management systems or process improvement is a plus.Why This Role?Work as part of a global audit team with real influence on how the function operates.Exposure to senior stakeholders and transformation initiatives.Join an organisation known for continuous innovation, scale and fast-paced strategic delivery.If you’re interested in progressing your internal audit career in a global environment with high exposure and meaningful impact, feel free to reach out for a confidential discussion.
