Electronic Test Engineer

The Company Our client is a market leader in the Electronic Manufacturing sector. A sustained period for growth is the reason they are looking to recruit an Electronic Test Engineer. The Role * Test interface to customer both internal and external within the company. * Provide the technical interface between the customer and manufacturing for test related matters. * Maintain in circuit test, flying probe in circuit test and functional test fixtures and programs. * Liaise with involved individuals to define, develop and improve test solutions coordinating the purchase of external test solutions when appropriate. * Support the Quality in test improvement solutions for continual improvement activities to help achieve the business KPI’s. * Ability to analyse technical problems and complete detailed reports. * Support the calibration scheme, ensuring test fixtures are calibrated on time maintaining the asset system records and audit compliance requirements. * Lead new product introduction test activities. * Support Electronic Technicians (kit acquisition, circuit diagrams, test coverage, etc.). * Assist in the early identification of potential situations that may give rise to early product failure or deviation from standard parameters. * Investigate production test issues, determine root cause and implement preventative actions. * Support all production test issues providing support ...
