This position is for a Finance Business Partner in the Public Sector who will be working within the Accounting & Finance Department in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be a strong business partner, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial procedures and management accounts.

Description

  • Managing and maintaining financial records.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Providing support during audits.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures.
  • Assisting in budget planning and management.
  • Performing financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
  • Coordinating with other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial management.
  • Participating in professional development and training sessions.

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A degree or part-qualification in Accountancy or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management software.

Job Offer

  • An estimated salary range of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
  • At least a 12 month contract with strong chance of extension
