There are two positions available CNC Operator Full time (42hrs) | Pennybridge, Ballymena Salary £30 - £35k dependent on experience. Due to continued improvement and growth Smiths Engineering require an experienced CNC Operatorto set up and operate 3 & 5 Axis CNC milling machining centres. The successful candidate will be required to set machines and prove out programs to enable the smooth running of production batches and working hours will be on a shift pattern basis after training has been successfully delivered. We are seeking candidates with the following essential criteria: Applicants must be time served or have level 3 engineering qualification at pass grade. CNC machining experience setting and machining on milling machines. Competency in finishing and inspecting machined parts. Read and understand technical drawings. Good attention to detail. Working knowledge of Heidenhain or Siemens controls. Desirable criteria: Experience in Vericut. CNC programming experience. Experience in Mastercam or similar CAM Software.
