Job title: Senior EC&I Engineer - 5 year minimum in the Nuclear sector Job Type: Contract - 12 months Start date: ASAP Salary: Inside IR35 - rate disclosed once contacted Location: The role is based at one of the client's offices in Warrington, Abingdon, or Cumbria. Hours of work: Up to 37 hours per week Travel: Must be willing to travel to client sites as required. Role Overview The Senior EC&I Design Engineer will support the Principal Engineer in delivering complex engineering projects and may take ownership of smaller work packages with assistance from the wider team. The role covers the full lifecycle of EC&I design, from early concept development through detailed design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning. Key Responsibilities Lead or support the delivery of EC&I design work across all project stages. Produce high-quality design documentation, drawings, and calculations in line with project standards and regulatory requirements. Plan, coordinate, and manage design activities to ensure deadlines and quality expectations are met. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering principles, safety requirements, and site regulations.
