What you'll do:

  • Producing a variety of Revenue and cost reports that are used to produce weekly and monthly figures.
  • Analysing data to understand variances and work with the operational accountant to identify risks & opportunities to improve financial results.
  • Producing accurate and detailed weekly finance reports and set of accounts.
  • Using a detailed set of KPI's as business performance driver to improve the performance of the business.
  • Undertaking nominal ledger tasks including processing of journals, nominal ledger cross-charges and period end reconciliations.
  • Ensuring financial controls are in place to make sure interim and year-end financial accounts are accurate.

What you bring:

  • Studying towards AAT/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
  • Practical experience of financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Clear and concise communication, problem-solving skills, ability to think analytically and creatively.
