TTS 24-7 Recruitment are supporting our client in recruiting their new dynamic and engaging General Manager to oversee the full hospitality operation in one of their flagship venues in the heart of Bruntsfield Edinburgh.
Position: General Manager – Hospitality
Location: Bruntsfield Edinburgh
Start Date: October
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Bonus Scheme: 20% monthly, based on achieving budgeted EBITDA and KPIs
About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on General Manager who leads from the front, excelling at building strong relationships with customers, regulars, and staff alike. Your larger-than-life personality will help create a welcoming and positive atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational success.
This venue is in the heart of a Vibrant neighbourhood serving breakfast, famous brunches, Lunch and dinners 7 days a week, it’s very much a friendly vibe where the night is filled with the locals chatting into the night
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional service standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business.
- Being an inspirational and motivated leader to your team, by focusing on your employees and how they can best thrive in their roles, while always being aware of the delicate distinctions between personalities and their ways of working
- Displaying a strong knowledge of compliance management such as licensing, risk assessment and health and safety procedures
- Drive business performance by focusing on key KPIs, with a particular emphasis on achieving budgeted EBITDA.
- Ensure smooth operation of all areas, from front-of-house to back-of-house management.
- Implement and monitor processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Maintain a focus on hospitality excellence, meeting the needs of both guests and staff.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a hands-on General Manager in the hospitality sector.
- A charismatic and approachable personality, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
- Exceptional ability to build relationships and rapport with both customers and staff.
- Experience in driving business performance through managing KPIs and budgeted targets.
- Passionate about customer service, food and drink and delivering a high-quality experience.
