Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be supporting a local Eastbourne company with an Accounts Assistant vacancy, with an immediate start. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will cover a range of purchase and sales ledger duties, alongside finance administration.

Duties will include:

  • Credit control – chasing outstanding payments
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Processing a range of invoices, coding and matching to the system.
  • Liaising internally and with customer in regards to invoice requires.
  • Allocating and processing payments
  • Ad hoc finance administration

For this role you will need:

  • Desirably a minimum of 6 months finance experience
  • Ability to commute to offices on a daily basis.
  • Confident using Excel and accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
  • Ability to start on short notice (4 weeks maximum)
