What You’ll Do:

As an Automotive Trim Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting luxury interiors, working with high-quality materials like leather, cloth, and carbon fibre. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interior Trim & Hardware Build: Meticulously fitting and reworking parts to bespoke specifications.
  • Bench Modifications & Refit: Removing, modifying, and refitting trim to perfection.
  • Exterior Body Panels & Trim: Strip and build exterior body panels and trim to include panel profiles with precision and flawless alignment.
  • Quality Excellence: Ensuring each stitch and surface meets exacting standards, contributing to continuous improvements.
  • Collaboration: Partnering with engineers and other craftsmen to enhance processes and resolve build issues.


What You Bring to the Team:

We’re seeking individuals who thrive on precision and craftsmanship. The ideal Automotive Trim Technician will have:

  • Extensive Experience: Hands-on expertise in full vehicle interior fitment (essential), ideally within a restoration environment.
  • Material Knowledge: Proficiency in working with leather, cloth, and carbon fibre.
  • Specialist Background: Experience in classic vehicles, motorsport, or high-end/luxury automotive sectors is highly desirable.
  • Attention to Detail: A relentless focus on achieving a flawless finish.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:15 pm, Friday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • Overtime: Weekdays and Saturdays available
