If so, we have an exciting opportunity for youPosition: Lift Service EngineerRole Overview:As a Lift Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining lift systems to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. You will work independently or as part of a team to conduct routine maintenance checks, diagnose faults, and perform repairs to keep lift systems running smoothly.Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance checks, inspections, and servicing of lift systems according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer guidelines. * Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and conduct repairs on lift components, including motors, controllers, door mechanisms, and safety devices. * Respond promptly to service calls, emergencies, and breakdowns to minimize downtime and disruption to lift operations. * Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. * Communicate effectively with clients, building owners, and other stakeholders to provide updates on service activities and address any concerns. * Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in lift engineering.Qualifications: * Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Lift Service Engineer or similar role in the lift and elevator industry. * Strong knowledge of lift systems, components, and safety standards. * Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Pay Rate: £15-£20phWorking hours: Monday - Friday7am - 4pm
