Position: Electronics TechnicianLocation: ChorleySalary: Up to £35,000The Role: A position has now been created for an enthusiastic Electronics Technician to join a busy R&D team in the Chorley area. The successful Electronics Technician will be joining a growing engineering business and have the chance to work closely with experienced engineers from a variety of disciplines.This role will best suit a HND or Degree qualified engineer who has experience with testing and repairing in-house designed electronic PCBs to component level and is looking to develop their engineering career with aspirations of becoming an electronics test engineer or electronics design engineer in the future.You can expect your role to involve:Electronics prototyping, assembling and testing for R&DAssembly, preparation and use of new equipment.Assisting with the design, building and maintenance of in-house functional test sets/rigsPCB design and layoutFault finding and bug fixing existing designsRequired skills and experience:Experience of working with surface mount components.Understanding of electronic schematicsExperience with electronics test equipment - Multi-meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators etcSoldering and PCB rework skillsDegree within an engineering disciplineDesirable experience:PCB design and layoutElectronic simulation softwareKnowledge of analogue and digital circuitsPlease contact Laurence Powell or Andrew Knight at KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd to discuss this role in further detail
