Northampton

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Science Teacher with a Physics specialism to join our partner school on a full-time basis, starting from September 2024 for a year contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3 - KS5 students, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage independent thinking and academic achievement.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Science and Physics, with a strong knowledge of the UK curriculum. You will be expected to bring enthusiasm and energy to the classroom, inspiring students to achieve their full potential. You will also have experience in designing and implementing effective lesson plans, delivering clear and concise instructions and providing constructive feedback to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality Science Physics lessons to KS3 - KS5 students
  • Designing and implementing effective lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
  • Assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
  • Participating in school events, parent-teacher conferences and staff meetings as required
