Our client, an international Freight Forwarder is seeking an Internal Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding to join their team in Chelmsford area.


Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on in-bound leads with an aim to convert these into new booked business.
  • Build and maintain client relationship.
  • Responsible for ad-hoc enquiries which can involve some freight enquiries.
  • Dealing with both existing clients and prospects
  • Working closely with sales department to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Following through sales leads and negotiating with overseas agents and suppliers


Requirements:

  • Shipping experience
  • Experience selling services to importers
  • Experience handling cold calls
  • Capable of calculating costs and quotes
  • Knowledge of Multi freight system
  • Good customer service and sales skills
  • Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
