Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Whiteley or Farnborough or Glasgow with flexibility to work from home dependent on business demandsAre you ready for your next career challengeThe Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing infrastructure support for CIO Services and will work mainly within our Communications and Collaboration area. This position is internal not customer facing and involves supporting both project-based and operational efforts.What will I be doingDesign implement and support enterprise-grade platforms that enable real-time interaction email messaging and user productivity with a focus on scalability and resilience.Collaborate with team members over various areas of Infrastructure providing technical guidance and mentoring junior team members.Lead project-based initiatives by assisting in the design implementation and managing solutions that meet project requirementsEnsure systems are compliant with internal and external regulatory requirements proactively identifying and addressing gaps.Manage identity and access control ensuring appropriate user permissions and security best practicesMonitor and optimise the performance of collaboration tools to ensure high availability and proactively addressing potential issuesResolution of incidents and requests within SLASupport of Major IncidentsDevelop Automation to streamline processes drive efficiencies and enable shift-left strategies.Create update and maintain high quality technical documentation and knowledge base articles for wider team use.Provide weekly activity reporting and operational metrics to management and stakeholders.What does Leidos need from meDeep understanding of M365 and related collaboration platformsKnowledge of email security phishing validation and CSIRT processesExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure problemsUnderstanding of Proofpoint and other security technologiesAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentCustomer focused service delivery with a commitment to continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfactionStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholdersClearance Requirements: BPSS Screening to startSC for roleReinvent yourself at Leidos UK Uncover your potential by becoming a member of our team.What we do for you:At Leidos we are PASSIONATE about customer success UNITED as a team and INSPIRED to make a difference.
