Presales consultant NEC Revenues and Benefits

We currently require a Presales Consultant to join our established Revenues and Benefits and Central Government (RBCG) Team.The successful candidate will bring their expertise in NECs Revenues and Benefits solutions to support presales activities including demonstrations presentations and solution design. They will have experience with NECs Council Tax Business Rates Business Improvement Districts and associated Citizen Access modules and will be able to clearly articulate the value and functionality of these products to prospective clients.This role requires strong communication skills the ability to understand customer requirements and the capability to translate these into tailored solutions. The candidate will work closely with the sales and consultancy teams to ensure successful engagement and will be keen to share and extend their knowledge within the team.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Sales and BID teams in preparing tender responses and develop tailored presentations and proposals that address specific client needs and challengesConduct comprehensive software demonstrations to potential clients highlighting the key features and benefits of NEC Revenues and Benefits solutionsMaintaining and testing pre-sales databases for each software release ensuring new functionality is incorporated into demonstrations.Configuring building and showcasing all relevant modules effectively.Delivering both high-level overviews and in-depth demonstrations of system functionality to support new business opportunities and account management.Acting as a subject matter expert for internal and external queries related to revenues and general system functionality.Building strong customer relationships to support sales growth and develop case studies.Collaborating with the product team to the development of product roadmaps by providing market insights and client feedback.Participate in industry events and conferences to promote NEC solutions and build relationships with key stakeholdersQualifications : Essential SkillsExpertise and extensive up to date knowledge in NEC Revenues (Council Tax and/or Non-Domestic Rates)Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesFlexibility and the need to meet deadlines including occasional work outside standard hours.Ability to problem solve in demanding circumstances.Ability to work on own or part of a team and on multiple projects in parallel.Willingness to travel within the UK for client meetings and industry eventsDesirable SkillsIRRV QualificationIntegration / Interfaces (with NEC R&B products)Knowledge of competitor products in the revenue and benefits sectorPrevious experience in presales or consultancy roles within the public sector  Additional Information : Employees of NEC Software Solutions are entitled to the following Company funded benefits: Single Private Medical Cover (with the option to select family cover at an additional cost)25 days paid holiday (includes 3 company nominated days) with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days 4 x basic salary life assurance coverA Group Pension Plan with fantastic employer contributionsA selection of tax efficient flexible benefits to suit your individual needs This role offers a competitive salary.OTHER INFORMATIONCandidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the EU.
