Job Title: Maximo Developer

Salary: Up to £55,000

Location: Head office in Midlands, ideally commutable but will consider remote working for exceptional candidates.

Requirements: You will need to be UK citizen or have been in the UK for the Last 5 years (to gain SC Clearance) 

Due to continued success, I have a very exciting opportunity for a skilled Maximo Developer to become a key member within my Global Client's Engineering product team.

You will be responsible for configuring, customising, and developing solutions within the Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.0), ensuring it meets all requirements of their departments and teams.

Key duties of the role include:
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with the Technical Product Owner to align product development with customer and stakeholder expectations.
  • Participate in crafting and refining user stories to standardise the development approach across the team.
  • Keep abreast of the latest updates and advancements within the Maximo platform to leverage new features and improvements.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with both team members and clients to facilitate effective communication and project success.
  • Commit to following established best practices in development and adhere to the set architectural strategies.
Skills & Qualifications required as the Maximo Developer:
  • Proven experience with Asset and Engineering Management and the Maximo Application Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain Maximo Application Suite (v8) within a complex engineering asset environment.
  • Proficiency in developing Maximo scripts using Java, Python, or Jython.
  • Familiarity with the technical stack of Maximo Application Suite, including IBM Openshift and MS-SQL in an Azure hosting environment.
  • Agile methodology experience, with a preference for SCRUM.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • IBM Certified Administrator - Maximo Manage v8.x.
  • IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Manage v8.x.
  • Desirable experience in MAS Monitor & Predict.
  • Essential experience in MAS Manage, Schedule, and Mobile.
  • Experience overseeing an IBM Partner responsible for MAS and OpenShift configuration and support.
  • Desirable knowledge of Government and Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts and standards.
  • Asset IOT/monitoring experience
