This is a long-term opportunity with a forward-thinking process plant which puts worker welfare and engagement at the forefront of its operation. Their list of employee benefits is unrivalled, including staff holidays, private health & dental, and career progression.This is a very well-established business which produces and distributes materials for the construction and highways industry nationally.Due to the layout of the shop floor, which can involve narrow aisles and congestion of forklifts in their Goods Out department, it is vital that all applicants have a high degree of confidence on the trucks. As such, we are really looking for an absolute minimum of 18 months active FLT operation experience.Your main responsibilities are as follows:- Locating orders using computerised inventory system, and retrieving them using the Counterbalance forklift truck- If assigned a PPT role, you will be expected to conduct manual picks whilst operating the vehicle safely (certificate would be useful but not essential)- Maintaining a strong awareness of your surroundings and ensuring H&S is a top priority- Assisting with manual loading/ offloading duties as required- General despatch paperwork- Housekeeping of ...
