Head of Technical - Beauty A fast-growing, premium beauty brand is looking for a Head of Technical to steer the technical side of NPD whilst covering maintenance and compliance of their existing portfolio. You’ll report into c-suite giving you strong influence across the organisation. Manage a small but mighty technical team, and own everything from formulation development and claims through to regulatory compliance and product safety.What you’ll be doing: Leading the technical delivery of new products (NPD) and maintaining the existing portfolio (EPD) Managing and developing a technical team of chemists/scientists Troubleshooting and resolving formulation/manufacturing issues Owning regulatory compliance and product safety across all markets Guiding external labs and suppliers through briefs, testing, approvals and scale-up Setting technical standards, testing requirements and QA expectations Signing off formulas, claims and final specificationsWhat you’ll bring: A scientific degree (cosmetic science, chemistry, pharmacy, biology or similar) Strong hands-on experience across skincare + colour cosmetics formulation Proven track record taking products from concept → lab → scale-up → launch Confidence working with external labs, vendors and internal senior stakeholders Sharp project management, problem-solving and communication skills Comfortable thriving in a high-growth, fast-moving brand environmentWhy it’s exciting:You’ll join a business that has scaled rapidly, continues to push into new markets, and genuinely invests in product excellence.
