From managing the yard to ensuring the vehicles are in top shape, your efforts will keep everything organized and efficient.What You'll Do:
  • Yard Management:
    • Coordinate deliveries and check stock levels.
    • Keep the yard tidy and safe.
    • Manage waste bins and skips.
    • Maintain stock levels for sand and ballast.
    • Label and store deliveries properly.
    • Prepare materials for site teams.
    • General housekeeping around the depot.
  • Vehicle Duties:
    • Handle the delivery and collection of site vehicles.
    • Refuel and clean vehicles.
    • Drive vehicles nationwide as needed.
    • Correctly store COSHH materials.
    • Step in for operatives on site when needed.
    • Perform scrap metal runs.
    • Hire and off-hire plant/equipment as required.
  • Health & Safety:
    • Follow the company’s Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
    • Report any HSEQ issues to the supervisor.
What You Need:
  • Full driving licence.
  • Class 2 Licence.
  • In-date CPC and Tacho.
  • Comfortable working outside in a physically demanding role.
  • Good time management and communication skills.
  • Willingness to participate in training.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards.
