Stockton-on-Tees Pay Rate: £31.85
- £33.85 per hour Contract: 12 months Hours: 37.5 hours per week Your Responsibilities Leading the design, development, and optimisation of product packaging solutions to meet strict safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Providing detailed specifications to suppliers and collaborating closely with logistics providers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation. Evaluating packaging materials, machinery, and automation technologies, and reporting results regularly. Driving continuous improvement initiatives and utilising risk-based decision making and root cause analysis to minimise transportation damage. Adhering to packaging development processes and approving packaging for specific product lines. Undertaking occasional travel for supplier visits and training purposes at other company facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Significant experience gathered within an industrial packaging or material handling equipment context.
