Your new company Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Production Design Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Dungannon. This company has recently invested in a new design office which will integrate both their R&D Design team and their Production and Manufacturing Design team. Your new role In this role you will be responsible for mentoring and leading a small design team of 5 design engineers who have been with the company since completing apprenticeships. This role will be based in the manufacturing and production team with a heavy engineering background. You will be responsible for taking ownership of a product and transitioning this product to production, whilst also introducing continuous improvements that will assist the company to grow in a profitable manner. What you'll need to succeed Educated to a degree in an Engineering discipline. 3 years experience with CAD design. Awareness of relevant safety standards. Design experience gained in a materials handling manufacturing environment. Experience of hydraulic systems. Experience of electrical control systems. Experience of diesel engine installations. Project management experience. Solid Works or Pro/Engineer experience. Research and Development experience.
