An automotive component manufacturer with sites across Europe require a Dimensional Engineer on a 12-month fixed term contract to support the Product Engineering team in developing new components to ensure robust tolerancing protocols. The ideal candidate will hold a degree and experience in GD&T, Measurement and Gauging. Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Redditch, Bromsgrove Salary: £57,000 - £59,000 p.a. Suitable: Dimensional Manager, Dimensional Engineer, GD&T Engineer, Geometric Dimensional Tolerancing Engineer The Role Reporting into the Engineering Director you will have the following duties: -Lead dimensional compliance activities for programmes ensuring compliance ahead of the PPAP milestone. -Carryout DVA analysis and calculations utilising best practice. -Lead the mark-up of prints for Geometric Dimensional and Tolerancing annotation. -Provide input to the DFMEA forum, ensuring any significant characteristics are transferred to the measurement plans.
