Job Title: Industrial Refrigeration Engineer – Midlands – 52K Location: Midlands (Coventry and surrounding areas) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview: An established and growing refrigeration contractor is seeking experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineers to join their expanding team in the Midlands. This role involves service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems across sectors such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and storage. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong ammonia experience looking for a long-term position within a stable, technically focused business. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and fault-find across a range of industrial refrigeration and cooling systems. Diagnose and repair faults on both new and existing installations. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service calls. Work on a range of plant and equipment, including: Single and two-stage pumped ammonia systems CO₂ systems Blast chillers and freezers Cooling tunnels, plate and spiral freezers Glycol chiller systems (all refrigerants) Adiabatic cooling systems Ice machines and ice banks Standard DX systems Heat recovery systems and votators Ensure all work complies with F-Gas and ammonia safety regulations.
