Are you obsessive about quality, with a great eye for detail?  Do you have inspection experience?  If yes, this could be the role for you...Our client, a major manufacturer of bearings for the aerospace and automotive industry, is looking for a Quality Inspector Operative to ensure their quality standards are met through demonstrable inspection techniques.This opportunity is a permanent opportunity with an attractive salary.What would you do?Located on the shop floor, inspecting, and measuring componentsSupport manufacturing process requirementsWork to aerospace quality standardsLiaise with manufacturing personnel to aid the successful resolution of all issuesActively participate and support Manufacturing ExcellenceUphold Health and Safety RegulationsYou will be working on a double day shift rotating, the hours are 05:50-14:00 and 13:50-22:00 Monday to Thursday and Fridays 05:50-11:20 and 11:10-16:40 shift premium is offeredWhat are we looking for?Experience in inspection/measurement of aerospace componentsAbility to use a wide range of inspection equipment - including micrometers, DTI’s, verniers, air gaugesAbility to interpret technical drawingsUnderstanding of geometric tolerancingAbility to produce FAIR’s to AS9102 standards - (Aerospace quality standard)Eyesight to J1 (corrected vision if necessary)CMM experience - good to have but not essentialAbility to work to local quality standardsBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing (5s, Material Flow)The above represents a summary of the role.  A full description of this contract assignment is available; the rate advertised is the rate paid by the agency to an umbrella employment company.  It is not a PAYE pay rate.  A full explanation of this rate and all deductions will be explained in a key information document (KID) supplied to registered candidates
