  • We are currently seeking an Interim Store Operative to join our team for a period of 12 weeks. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our store operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our inventory management system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude to contribute to our dynamic team.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • To pick shop orders and label them ready for production. Packaging them ready for relocation to new site.
  • Keep the stores and surrounding area clean and tidy to promote good Health and safety practices.
  • To pick parts from stock locations and physically transfer them to new locations as part of an upcoming relocation. Taking the lot batch and QTY into careful consideration.
  • To record these movements to allow you or the wider stores team to carry out the transaction on the warehouse management system.
  • To collate parts identified for disposal and dispose of them accordingly.
  • To adhere to all H&S policies.

Profile

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a Warehouse or Stores environment
  • Experience of stock counting & picking
  • Strong numerical proficiency/use of data
  • Physically fit and capable of moving boxes and items by hand, as well as climbing steps/ladders
