ob Description: COURIER 3.5TN MULTIDROP DRIVER DHL FULL TIME - EDINBURGH AVTAV are proud to be working in cooperation with DHL a global logistics company proving courier, package delivery and express mail services RoleCourier 3.5TN Multidrop Driver (Van, Fuel, Uniform provided) LocationEDINBURGH ShiftsMon - Fri Hours08.00am18.00pm Pay between 08.00am -19.00pm: £14.25 per hour Pay between 19.00pm08.00am: £16.96 per hour Pay Saturdays: Additional £1.18 per hour Pay Sundays: Additional £2.20 per hour Pay OT: £21.38 ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Delivering DHL parcels and mail packages across various routes 50 parcel drops per day initially moving up to 75 drops using hand-held scanner Loading own vehicle between 08.00-9.00am leaving depot around 9am to start deliveries Deliveries to commercial and residential properties REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently Prior multi drop courier experience required Must have 1 years experience in 3.5tn delivery driving role Must have 180 days of driving 3.5tn in past 2 years Full licence with maximum 6 minor points PACKAGE Weekly pay every Friday Break room with full facilities, fridge/microwave etc Games room Great team atmosphere Career growth potential * SECURITY CHECKS * As this role is connected to a major UK airport applicants must be willing for Avtav to complete the following process on their behalf in line with Aviation Security Regulations. 5-year employment/unemployment history check UK criminal record check International criminal record check for periods over 6 months Relevant Aviation security training completed in house by Avtav (not cost to applicant) Summary As a Collection/Delivery Driver 3.5TON, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for providing efficient and timely delivery services to our customers. With core skills in driving and a valid driving license, you will excel in multi-drop driving and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your premium skills in delivery driver experience and commercial driving will be key in successfully completing deliveries. Additionally, your relevant skills in warehouse experience and heavy lifting will enable you to handle goods effectively.
