MKJ Ignite are a proactive and highly skilled Business Development Manager to help drive new business growth for an innovative and fast-growing premium snacking brand. This is a fractional, remote role, perfect for someone with a strong background in sales who thrives on winning new clients and developing strategic partnerships.


About the Role:


As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be new business acquisition. You will be responsible for expanding the brand’s client base across key channels such as premium retail, hospitality, foodservice, and e-commerce. This role offers a high degree of flexibility, allowing you to work remotely while playing a pivotal role in the company’s growth trajectory.


What skills do you need to have to be considered?


⭐️New Business Focus: Your core responsibility will be identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities with premium retailers and distributors.

⭐️Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a tailored sales strategy aimed at scaling the brand’s presence in both UK and international markets.

⭐️Lead Generation and Management: Research and generate leads, nurture them through the sales pipeline, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

⭐️Pitching and Negotiation: Prepare compelling presentations and proposals, and lead negotiations to secure profitable, long-term partnerships.

⭐️Remote Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure the successful onboarding of new clients and smooth product rollouts.

What We’re Looking For:

⭐️Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in business development, particularly in new client acquisition, ideally within the FMCG or premium food.

⭐️Results-Driven: A track record of exceeding sales targets and securing new, high-value partnerships.

⭐️Remote Work Experience: Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing your time and priorities effectively to drive results.

⭐️Networking & Relationship Building: Strong connections in the UK food sector, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

⭐️Passion for Premium Brands: A deep understanding of the premium consumer market, particularly in food and drink.
