Providing our customers with the whole product life cycle is number one for us and with our mobile service engineers we offer from concept design manufacture installation and aftermarket support.Job SummaryTo supervise the daily operations of the warehouse and logistics team ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt storage picking packing and dispatch of goods. The role involves leading the warehouse operatives ensuring compliance with safety quality and operational procedures and driving continuous improvement across the department. Support warehouse operatives during operational peaks and provide hands-on assistance when needed.ResponsibilitiesGoods Inward & Receiving: Oversee the inspection and verification of incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality.Storage & Inventory Management: Ensure all inventory is accurately recorded in SAP stored in correct locations and labelled to company standards. Supervise and support cycle counting audits and full stocktake. Be able to solve and correct any issues that are escalated to you from the team reporting. Picking Packing & Dispatch: Ensure picking and packing processes are followed with high levels of accuracy and that all dispatches meet customer and internal requirements. Validate shipping documentation and ensure correct handling and recording of batch/serial numbers.Health Safety & Compliance: Monitor compliance with all site health and safety policies and procedures. Ensure operatives complete daily equipment checks and follow safe operating procedures. Operational Excellence & Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and work with management to implement changes that enhance productivity reduce waste and maintain high service levels. Ensure team are working within operational guidelines and meeting KPIs.Supervisory / Administrative Duties: Assist in the preparation of reports on warehouse performance stock levels and team productivity. Attend meetings and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the business around stock control and results operational stores functions and improvement plans.
