Major Infrastructure Projects Officer

A client within the Public Sector based in Lincolnshire is currently recruiting for a Major Infrastructure Projects Delivery Officer to join their Economy & Growth Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a part-time, temporary position (approx. 15 hours per week) on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a planning / infrastructure projects environment. The Role Key purpose of the role is to support the delivery of transformational and investment programmes for North Lincolnshire, specifically supporting the Council’s response to energy-related Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Acting as project manager for a range of energy-related NSIPs and council-led major projects. • Supporting the Council’s responses to nationally significant green energy infrastructure projects. • Leading the commissioning and management of consultants to support delivery. • Identifying and delivering inward investment projects that align with the Council’s priorities and UK carbon neutral targets. • Managing project budgets and maintaining accurate records, reports, and financial audit trails. • Advising senior management, councillors, and external partners on project options, community schemes, and regeneration opportunities. ...
