Job Title: Assembly OperativeLocation: Sutton-in-Ashfield, NottinghamshireSalary: £12.40 per hourHours: 07:30am - 4:30pm (Mon - Thurs)07:30am - 12:00pm (Friday)Start Date: ASAPContract Length: 18 months The CompanyMarket leader in the design, manufacture and supply of specialist real-time passenger information systems and customer information systems primarily for the transportation and aerospace sectors.Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for:* The assembly of passenger information products* Ensure high standards of right first time, efficiency and service level are consistently achieved* Ensure good levels of communication within the Team.* Provide positive support to team members as required.* To adhere to UK Health and Safety Regulations and safe working practices.* To adhere to quality standards, factory rules and HR policies.* To make positive contribution to continuous improvement activities.* To adhere to all deadlines and targets set by Repair Team Leader.* Establish good working relationship with the Repair team and key members of Manufacturing.* Reporting of Health and Safety issues / near misses to Repair Team Leader.Knowledge/experience/skills* Experience using hand tools* Be able to follow assembly drawings* Previous soldering skills would be beneficial* Must be able to mechanically assemble items and wire them in line with manufacturer instructions.Contact InformationEmail: (url removed)Due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
