Datacenter Technician

Job DescriptionPerform fiber optic installation, splicing, termination, and testing (single-mode and multi-mode).Conduct OTDR, power meter, and light source testing to verify signal integrity and link performance.Manage fiber patching, labeling, and cable organization in racks and patch panels.Assist with rack and stack of network and server equipment within the data center.Maintain structured cabling systems — including copper and fiber management.Support troubleshooting and repair of fiber connectivity issues across various data center zones.Coordinate with network engineers to validate link performance and resolve connectivity incidents.Ensure all work adheres to industry standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC) and internal data center guidelines.Document all work activities, including test results, fiber maps, and port assignments.Perform daily inspections to ensure cabling systems are in optimal condition and compliant with safety procedures.Support deployment, migration, and maintenance projects for data and network infrastructure.Qualifications & Skills:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunicati...
