We are delighted to be supporting a fantastic Public Sector organisation as they recruit for an ICT Category Lead. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our transformation journey, supporting critical workstreams and delivering value for money.In this role you will be:Lead the ICT Category Team in delivering compliant, value-driven procurement and contract activities.Develop and execute category strategies aligned with the organisation's commercial and operational goals.Manage complex procurement projects from need identification to contract signature.Drive supplier performance and risk management, ensuring contracts deliver maximum value.What We're Looking ForProven experience in high-value, complex ICT procurement and contract management.Strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.Expertise in market analysis, category planning, and strategic sourcing.Ability to lead and inspire a team, manage resources, and deliver transformation.Commitment to equality, sustainability, and continuous improvement.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
