Job Description

  • Cooperation with the construction team to ensure all engineering deliverables are met.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and resolve coordination issues.
  • Knowledge of services coordination, P&ID’s and Design Schematics required.
  • Have keen attention to detail and production of quality General arrangement layout drawings.
  • Help with the Commissioning ethos for projects, ensuring that Jones Engineering is the best it can be everyday everywhere.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Analyse supplier information for alignment with design specifications.
  • Review and understand schematics, GA plans and projects specifications.
  • Design reviews, validate equipment and systems.
  • Complete technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers and trackers.
  • Analysis of all design documentation and identification of any scope gaps.
  • Review of test procedures and of the operating manuals with the Specialist Vendor teams.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Attends Meetings as required.

Skills and Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Third Level Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry desirable.
  • Fluent English essential.
  • Excellent IT skills required.
  • Experience in Revit, AutoCAD would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
  • CSCS or Safety Passport H&S Qualifications mandatory.
