Electrical EstimatorMy client is a well-established and reputable M&E Contractor based in the Nottingham. They have grown stronger year on year since being established over 30 years ago and are looking to recruit a competent and driven Electrical Estimator to start ASAP. They work across various sectors ranging from commercial, retail , education and health care + more.As a Electrical Estimator, you will work within an established estimating team, working from initial design concept, through to the installation / handover.Electrical Estimator - duties and responsibilities:Review tender documents to ensure return is fully compliant and in line with all informationCarry out site surveys where necessary to mitigate risks of an existing siteIdentify potential risks and opportunities to maximise the returns for the companyComplete tender documentation correctly to meet KPIsFollow-up submitted tenders with clientsInvolvement with any post tender meetingsInvite and collect quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure robust costsActively seek enquiries and invitations for potential projects and clientsUse software packages to produce Take off materials, quantities from drawings and plansHandover projects to the contracts team to ensure that all internal parties understand the basis of the tender figures submitted.Provide a knowledgeable and high proficiency of commercial acumen in all bids and quotations Essential Skills / QualificationsHigh level of attention to detailStrong interpersonal and organisational skillsExcellent communication skillsExperience in an Electrical Estimator role (building services)Knowledge of Electrical Design Package - Competitive salary dependent on experience + Car or AllowanceThis position offers a fantastic career path for the right candidate, seeking a new Electrical Estimator opportunity within the Building Services sector.
