MPI require an Electrical Fitter Wirer to work on an ongoing contract, for our client based in BedfordElectrical Fitters (Wirers)£16.01 per hour PAYE or £20.68 Umbrella, plus overtime.Basic week 39 hoursFlexible hoursMon-Thurs starting between 7 & 8 (8 hours shift), half hour lunchFri 7:00-2.30 or 8:00-3.30 (7 hours shift), half hour lunchTemp to perm for the right candidateJob purposeThe role requires the candidate to be able to wire large special purpose machines to drawings, in a timely and professional manner.The successful candidate will be self-motivated, flexible with an ability to read and interpret drawingsProgression Path: Fitter > Lead Fitter > Production Supervisor > Production ManagerKey responsibilitiesReceive Job Package and reviewPrioritise build sequenceEnsure all work is of a high standardWire job from all the relevant information providedTo have the ability to work unsupervisedPersonal attributesFlexibility, motivation and commitment.Minimum five years previous experience allied to a proven ability to correctly interpret manufacturing information and carry out related self-inspection tasks.Capable of working with minimal supervision
