Company Overview: 

Hatching Time is seeking a talented and experienced remote SEO and Content Marketing Manager to take charge of our brand's organic visibility and online growth. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies, creating high-quality content, and driving significant traffic to our digital platforms. You would work directly with the leadership team to develop this strategy: Digital Marketing Manager, Head of E-Commerce and the CMO. Your efforts will be crucial in combining SEO best practices with content marketing to maximize our presence in search engine results and engage our target audience effectively.

Key Responsibilities:


SEO


Strategy: 

  • Develop and Implement SEO Strategy: Create a comprehensive SEO strategy tailored to Hatching Time’s objectives, focusing on improving organic visibility and rankings.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research using SEMRush or AhRefs to understand search intent and identify high-value keywords that align with our business goals.


Off-Site SEO

  • Backlink Strategy: Build and manage a backlink strategy, acquiring links from reputable and relevant sources to elevate Hatching Time’s profile.


On-Site SEO

  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize on-page SEO elements, including content quality, keywords, meta descriptions, and subheadings, to improve rankings and enhance user experience.
  • Technical SEO: Manage technical SEO aspects, ensuring a strong website structure, fast loading times, and a smooth user experience.


Management

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console and Semrush, making data-driven adjustments to improve rankings.
  • SEO Audits: Conduct regular SEO audits to identify issues, track progress, and implement necessary changes to improve overall SEO health.
  • SEO Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success, and report on SEO performance to leadership.


Content Marketing


Strategy 

  • Content Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive content marketing strategy tailored to Hatching Time’s objectives, focusing on creating content that resonates with our target audience.


Content

  • Editorial Calendar Management: Plan and manage an editorial calendar that aligns with Hatching Time’s content strategy, ensuring consistent and timely content delivery.
  • Content Creation: Create, distribute, and manage high-quality content across multiple formats, including blog posts, newsletters, videos, and social media, ensuring alignment with SEO goals. You will have multiple designers to choose from internationally.
  • Content Distribution: Distribute content through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, and paid ads, to maximize reach and impact.
  • Content SEO: Ensure that all content is optimized for SEO, including the use of relevant keywords, meta tags, and internal linking.
  • Content Innovation: Stay updated with content marketing trends and innovate content strategies to keep Hatching Time’s content fresh, engaging, and relevant.


Management

  • Collaboration with Teams: Collaborate with internal teams to gather expert insights and incorporate original research into content to boost authority and trustworthiness.
  • Content Performance Analysis: Analyze content performance, using data to identify what’s working and what needs improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing, with a proven track record of driving organic traffic.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and content strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with project management, demonstrating the ability to communicate and execute growth marketing strategies effectively.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
  • A growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, work efficiently, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on making a measurable impact on the organization.

Onboarding Timeline


In Your First Month:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing leadership to understand Hatching Time’s growth processes.
  • Assist in crafting and refining SEO and content marketing strategies to accelerate Hatching Time’s online presence.


Within 3 Months:

  • Take full ownership of SEO and content marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with Hatching Time’s growth objectives.
  • Implement a content marketing strategy tailored specifically to Hatching Time’s target audience.
  • Develop and manage a streamlined process to handle the content pipeline for Hatching Time’s digital platforms.


Within 6 Months:

  • Oversee and refine content marketing strategies, driving significant improvements in Hatching Time’s online visibility and engagement.
  • Contribute to process improvements in content creation and marketing workflows to enhance efficiency and impact.
  • Work closely with Hatching Time’s leadership to develop specific, tailored strategies that continue to propel the company’s growth.
