The Role:
As a Geography Teacher you will play a key role in delivering an engaging and broad curriculum that inspires a love for the subject. You will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 4 and potentially ALevel ensuring students develop a deep understanding of geographical concepts and the critical thinking skills necessary to explore the world around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver highquality differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and resources.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and curiosity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote crosscurricular links and holistic education.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Geography or a related field.
- Have a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Be passionate about Geography and dedicated to nurturing a love for the subject in students.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be committed to ongoing professional development and contributing to the wider school community.
