Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full time position however we are open to discussing a more flexible or part time approach where possible.

Salary: £53000 £60000 dependent on experience plus bonus and other benefits.

The Opportunity

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC) the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years which along with renewables will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

We have a fantastic opportunity for Regulatory Interface Senior Lead.

Our teams are set up to work flexibly with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.

The Role

As the Regulatory Interface Senior Lead you will ensure effective collaboration between Sizewell C and regulatory bodies safeguarding compliance while supporting the project's objectives. You will work with multidisciplinary teams advising on regulatory strategies managing engagements and ensuring the timely delivery of necessary approvals.

The Skills & Qualification
  • Qualified in a Science Engineering or Project Management discipline or can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and understanding through experience.
  • Knowledge / awareness of ONR EA HSE or Ofgem regulatory approach (other regulatory engagement experience will be considered)
  • Proven experience of stakeholder management
  • Must be confident in own abilities and be able to deliver in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to identify key internal and external stakeholders and decision makers to influence continuous improvement across the project.
  • Strong planning time management and communications skills.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Is proficient in the use of IT tools (e.g. O365).

  • Sizewell C Limited will be moving offices from 90 Whitfield Street to 25 Copthall Avenue.

25 Copthall Avenue is a modern building just a short walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025.

This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue. However depending on the date of the move there may be a period that you will be required to work temporarily from our existing office at 90 Whitfield Street.
