Job Role: Automation Test Engineer


The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation test frameworks and associated tools for a variety of web, windows and API applications.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation test frameworks and associated tools, maximising test coverage for the most critical features of the products and systems
  • Develop, maintain, execute and troubleshoot test scripts
  • Implement test reporting and visualisation to identify issues promptly and enable informed decisions to be made based on recorded metrics and KPIs
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing across Engineering through the identification of potential changes and initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, efficiency and quality of deliverables


Qualifications

  • Experience in automation testing including Web, Windows and API for engineering applications
  • Able to code in a variety of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Typescript
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the software development cycle
  • Can work in a structured software development environment
