We are working with a leading client in the Satellite Communications sector. Their cutting edge technology has enabled people and businesses to connect worldwide. They are now seeking a Validations Engineer to join their growing team.
About the role:
As a Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing tests to ensure the functionality and performance of the companies satellite communication systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, validate solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive validation plans for satellite communication systems and components.
- Design, execute, and document test cases to verify system functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Take ownership of important technical decisions about system design, implementation, and validation.
- Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in satellite communications and validation engineering.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Validation Engineering role within Satcoms, Aerospace or telecom systems industry
- Experience with automated test frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Experience working with RF testing equipment and electronics lab work.
- Knowledge of signal processing, RF and Mixed-signal.
- Skilled in C/C++
- Bonus: Experience with System Integration
- Bonus: Understanding of 4G / 5G protocols
