Your experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT (or equivalent IT related experience)
  • Networking or Azure Qualifications
  • Experience in IT Helpdesk Service Delivery and Ticket Management
  • Experience of Active Directory and Azure Entra ID Administration including Intune (Endpoint Manager) and Group Policy Management
  • Experienced in Documentation Process Mapping and Training Guide writing.

Key attributes:

  • A broad understanding of Enterprise Windows Domains Networking and Network Security Azure Server Azure Networking Firewalls Server architecture Virtual Machines SANs NAS Veeam SQL Database and Office 365.
  • Active Directory and Azure Entra ID Administration including Intune (Endpoint Manager) and Group Policy Management
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems (Desktop and Server components)
  • Advanced knowledge of company supported applications as well as Windows operating systems (Desktop and Server components).
  • Ability to learn and support new applications.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to train people.
  • Methodical and diligent approach with attention to detail and good time management.
  • Positive and flexible attitude with selfbelief and tenacity.
  • Good communication skills and respect for confidentiality.

Your responsibilities:

  • Providing IT Network Support and Service Delivery as part of the IT Department and Service Desk.
  • Troubleshooting Network and Computer problems in line with predefined Company Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Assisting the IT Manager in delivering complex IT Projects.
  • Advising staff on appropriate actions processes procedures and policies.
  • Serving as liaison between staff and the IT management department to resolve issues.
  • Working oneonone with staff on application and networking projects.
  • Taking ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues
  • Providing recommendations and advice on company IT purchases.
  • Providing recommendations on Company IT Network security including in the cloud (Azure)
  • Assisting in the development of IT related policies and procedures concerning IT Network use security and systems.
  • Documenting processes procedures and identified resolutions for future reference.
  • Performing hardware and software installations including Networking and Cloud operations.
  • Managing and recording IT assets.
  • Ensuring excellent quality of service to internal and external clients including interested parties.
  • Assisting with the development of reporting capabilities and reviewing performance metrics to improve service delivery.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary which are within the bounds of the incumbents competence and function.
