Youll also support students with individual learning needs and help shape the future of English provision within the college.This is for 2 VacanciesShort Listing will be week commencing 3rd NovemberInterviews will be held week commencing 11th NovemberEssential CriteriaTo be successful in this role youll need: A recognised teaching qualification (or be working towards one) A relevant degree or professional qualification in English or a related subject GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and maths Lecturers must have demonstratable teaching experience Knowledge of innovative teaching techniques and curriculum development Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging English lessons across GCSE and Functional Skills programmes Plan prepare and assess learning materials and student assignments Support learners through coaching mentoring and guidance Contribute to curriculum development and course leadership Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievement Participate in recruitment enrolment and quality assurance activities Engage in professional development and contribute to departmental improvement We offer generous holidays pension contributions and support for professional developmentincluding funding for teaching qualifications if needed.
